Today our world seemed as though
all was frozen after a bad winter storm.
There was not much snow,
but the the ice whispered upon the earth.
Welcome to our yard in winter.
But the cardinals braved the cold...
...and so did my husband!
Stay warm, my friends!

Beautiful frosty pictures! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteRight now here in Germany it's all gray and rainy ... as in recent weeks:)
Thanks, Gaby! Next week it's supposed to get up in to the 60's so I can only dream. Yesterday it warmed up a little so a lot of the ice melted, but we still have a ways to go. Stay dry! XO
DeleteGorgeous nature, in all its wildness, dear Sue, looking so very beautiful, when water is freezing . And what a sweet photo of your husbond !!
ReplyDeleteHugs from Dorthe
Thanks, Dorthe. As much as I'm not a cold weather person, I must admit it has a beauty of its own. Have a great week! Hugs back!
DeleteOh my word Sue these are such awesome shots!! Wishing I could weald a camera like you my friend! : ) Love the bike (too cool) and the trees and the robin too~ Thanks for sharing! ~Karen O
ReplyDeleteTrust me when I say you wouldn't have to go far to meet my limited camera skills! That bike is an old one that I painted many years ago and use as garden art (if you want to call it that!). I'm waiting for the hostiles, i.e. Homeowners Board people, to accuse us of trashing our yard! Have a great week!

DeleteSue ~ Thank you for your well wishes. Still struggling but they did blood tests yesterday so I hope I have an answer. Your winter photos are just stunning. I am sure it was quite a shock to all of you and hope you weathered the storm well!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nancy. I hope that your tests turn out well and you get some answers. Warmer weather for the next few days after today! XO
