Speaking as one who is married to a veteran, I thank all of them for their service to this country. I hope that we can take a few minutes today to show our appreciation for the sacrifices that they and their families have made.
I have some vintage post cards relative to Rembrance Day. No matter what we call it, it is a very special day for all veterans everywhere. We went to Applebees that night and there was a trio of older ladies going around to the tables singing the most beautiful patriotic songs from various wars. It was really nice and they got several rounds of applause, quited deservedly. I did thank my Air Force veteran on your behalf!
Hello! My name is Sue, and I am a wife, mother and grandmother with a love of all things vintage. I enjoy trying to put creative touches on all that I do.
You can reach me at: phoebesperch@aol.com.
Go ahead and pin anything that you like! I am also flattered to think that you might like something well enough to use it for something other than Pinterest. If you do, I would appreciate a comment. Most of the vintage items that I offer as "freebies" are very old and I am sure beyond any copyright restrictions. If I use anything that is not old, and it is not mine, I credit it accordingly, and you should do the same. Thank you.
We call our November 11th Remembrance Day. One of the days in the year I truly honour. And thank your veteran from me for his service to your country.
